Parsch is a district of the city of Salzburg. It is located at the foot of the Gaisberg in the east of the city. Neuhauserstraße forms the border to Gnigl, the Kapuzinerberg that to the northwest. The Nesselthalergasse south of the Rennbahnsiedlung and the green space around the old Jägergut farmstead as well as the Fischbach villa form the border to the south of Aigen to the west of the railroad line. To the east of the railroad line, the Preuschenpark (around the Abfalterhof) and the Maria-Cebotari-Strasse form the border to the Aigen-Abfalter district. The district Parsch has a size of 194.8 ha.

At the border to the old settlement area Äußerer Stein, between the Ignaz-Rieder-Kai and the Bürglsteinstraße lies the Volksgarten. This was originally called Brodhäuslau and was renamed Franz-Josef-Park in 1908 in honor of Emperor Franz-Josef. Later the name Volksgarten became established.
